He has struck up a friendship with former SYRA lineman, John Reagan. NCS has also offered. 1060 SAT.” Prep Star: "Matt hails from the same prep program as former BC star, Chuckie Dukes. He is projected as an offensive lineman at the collegiate level on the basis of his size, athletic ability ( he also plays lacrosse and wrestles ) and the fact that he has quick feet. Matt (who has been offered by SU and N.C. SuperPrep: “Matt has committed to Syracuse, choosing the Orangemen over N.C. State, Maryland, Wake Forest and Duke. 'He has outstanding leadership, agility and athleticism,' said one RC. 3.7/1040.” PrepStar: "Matt had originally committed to NC State before otping for the Orangemen. Duke, Mary and WFU had also offered. Outstanding prospect with size and smarts. Matt played both ways as a sr, but projects as an OT on the next level. Had 70 tackles and 12 sacks on defense and is a two-time All-State selection.” |

Syracuse liked what they saw of Matt at camp this summer and offered him a scholarship.
However it took the firing of the N.C. State head coach to get him here.
A quality lineman with a good frame and decent quickness. Will definitely need
to redshirt. |
